Edward Smith - Owner/Head Designer
Edward has been involved with floral design, event planning and wedding work for 40 years. He has been the lead event designer for shows & events held throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean. His specialty is high end and stylized arrangements but he also enjoys creating beautiful everyday arrangements. His past experience designing and decorating for major hotels and businesses makes him multi-faceted. Edward has placed in the top 5 four times while competing at the Great Lakes Floral Expo for the Michigan Floral Association. He has won the Sympathy design division and Bridal division. He now qualifies for the Academy Division when competing at the Great Lakes Floral Expo.
Kathy Spencer - Manager/Designer
In 1975 I started in the floral business and still enjoy every part of working in a flower shop from processing flowers to creating a bride's bouquet. Every day is different in the flower shop : new flowers - new people. I am an award winning designer and was awarded the Best of Blooms for the La Casa Garden Tour many times. I was also selected to decorate the govenor's residence.

I have enjoyed doing everything fromwedding designsat the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island and Country Lane, Christmas decorating forMichigan's governor mansion for the past four years as well as the Howell Chamber of Commerce.Dancerecitals and special occasions like birthdays are my favorite as this lets me be a part of your special day!
Lee Ream - Delivery Driver
Retired from the fencing industry, Lee has been driving for Country Lane Flower Shops for the past 11 years. He states that delivering flowers is much easier on his body than fencing. He enjoys working with the public and meeting so many nice people when he gets to deliver them flowers.
